1983: Born in Ketchikan, Alaska

2001: Graduates High School, having participated in Jazz and Concert band

2003: Graduated Pierce Community College with AA degree having studied theory, performance and recording

2004-05: Minneapolis, MN, sessions at Ed Ackerson’s Flowers Studio, shows at First Ave, Fine Line and many others

2006-2009: Los Angeles. Full time studio work as musician and engineer. Gigs at the Troubadour, Chain reaction and many others. Composing for Adult Swim TV show “The Boondocks.”

2010: National tour as bassist for Mayer Hawthorne

2010-2013: Portland Oregon. Opens and operates Geare Music, recording studio and music equipment store.

2013-2017: Worldwide touring as live drummer for Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Includes festivals, (Glastonbury, Coachella, Bonnaroo) and late night TV shows (Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brian, Seth Myers)

Studio and production work with Radiation City, Reptaliens, Jackson Boone, Cat Hoch, Trio Flux and many others.

2018: Los Angeles. Releases first solo album, “The Trip, Vol. 1”

2020-2024: US, Europe and Mexico touring with Caroline Rose, including festivals and an appearance on Seth Myers

Session work and productions including “Evergreen” by Omar Apollo, “Triangular Girl” by Pearl and the Oysters, “One Call” by Dent May and many others. Production includes “Trouble” by Twin, featured on the TV show “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Bad Man” by FIghtmaster.

More solo albums released: “The Trip Vol. 2” (2020) “Champagnedemonium” (2022) “The Art of Color” (2024) and several singles. Champagnedemonium and Time (EP) released on vinyl by Killer Kern Records.

Great Vacation! band debuts, and releases “You Make it Look Easy” / “Yellow Gold Diamond Fire” on 7’ vinyl from CQQL records.

Begins full time studio work at Honeymoon Suite Studios.
